Mustafa is interested in imparting logic within soft matter to realize programmable, reversible, and robust shape-changing soft materials capable of sensing and responding to environmental cues. Ultimately, Mustafa is curious about the role processing techniques have on the microstructure, mechanical properties, and responsiveness of soft materials.
